Este artigo procura discutir as interfaces e articulações entre os construtos Inovação, Competências e Desempenho Organizacional, considerando sua influência e operacionalidade no contexto organizacional. Essa discussão se sustenta em um ambiente que apregoa e sinaliza intensa inovação em busca vantagem competitiva sustentável. Neste contexto, a gestão de competências, pautada pela visão baseada em recursos, surge como ferramenta de gestão de recursos humanos que propõe a interlocução das estratégias inseridas no contexto de inovação visando adaptação, evolução e desempenhos esperados.
